GW Power Safe power up with IT leasing

GW Power Safe specialise in a range of electrical services; providing consultation, design and installation services to both residential and business clients. The team also offer full safety testing and inspection, ensuring full compliance with the critical British Safety Standards. According to Electrical Safety First, faulty electrics and electrical equipment account for around 70 deaths and 350,000 injuries in UK homes each year.

Established in 2014, GW Power Safe has expanded from its original three to 12 full-time staff in total; more of half of which have been appointed and upskilled through apprenticeships. In order to accommodate the increasing workload, the team have recently relocated to a new workspace and required a server of their own.

Director, Daniel Haley, liaised with Jamie at Johnson Reed, who facilitated finance for the server, new hardware and a secure storage solution in conjunction with the relocation deadlines. The lease allowed GW Power Safe to acquire their desired equipment whilst minimising the upfront cost and spreading the remainder through smaller, manageable sums over a set period.

“Leasing is very important for a new growing business like ourselves, as it keeps large upfront costs down and helps the cash flow so we can carry on growing. Johnson Reed were really helpful and answered any questions we had promptly. Once we’d signed the documents, the application was processed very quickly.” Luke Howlett, GW Power Safe

Wow Digital signage helps clients stand out

Wow Graphics originally formed as a print business in 2014, specialising in retail graphics and office branding. The company branched out to incorporate the digital signage element of their business, Wow Digital, and now sell to the retail, restaurant, hospitality, education and healthcare businesses and organisations across the UK.  According to their online stat counter, seven team members and 7832+ cups of coffee have gone into their 167 happy clients!

The team, head up by director, Darren Ware, recently designed and opened a demo suite to demonstrate the technology in action and allow potential customers to experience the product first-hand before making a purchase.

Here at Leasing IT, we fully understand the value this technology can bring to a business, having recently invested in a similar product ourselves. It certainly makes for a more eye-catching and compelling display at exhibitions and events! In fact, according to the Wow Digital website, 63% of people report that digital signage catches their attention.

Account manager, Jamie Collier, worked closely with Darren to facilitate finance for the purchase of the showroom signage technology from the manufacturer. The totally-transparent lease agreement allows Wow Graphics to budget ahead with confidence whilst offsetting the tax savings against the fixed repayments.

Hallidays accountants upgrade office hardware

It’s always a pleasure to work with returning customers; recognising significant developments in their business, identifying how Johnson Reed’s Leasing IT has enabled them to grow and hearing that the service we provided was one they would use again! Especially when those customers are our ‘more than just accountants’ and fellow Stockport business, Hallidays.

Hallidays dates back to 1843, and was passed through generations of the Halliday family before attracting new partners and incorporating other established practices. The team have continued to strive for excellence and their commitment to customer service certainly shows, with their ‘Client Happiness Score’ standing at an impressive 96%.

The company recently upgraded their hardware and telecoms equipment through a sale and leaseback facility. The new kit promotes greater ease and efficiency in day-to-day tasks, whilst the lease allows the business to make great tax savings throughout the term of the agreement. For this reason, leasing is often the purchase method of choice for savvy accountants!

Hallidays Finance Director, Valerie Wain, commented, “The prompt turnaround allowed the company immediate use of the new equipment and minimised downtime, without using cash reserves for the initial purchase – who wouldn’t be delighted! It was a pleasure to work with Johnson Reed again.”
